The Most Fur-ightful Disney-Inspired Halloween Costumes for Dogs in 2025

Halloween isn’t just fun for the humans, our furry friends deserve to be a part of the spooky festivities. Whether your pup wants to wear an elegant ball gown or maybe just a casual head piece, I’ve rounded up some of the most fabulous Disney-inspired Halloween costumes for dogs from Etsy, Chewy, and Amazon that are sure to get some tails wagging! (I am NOT affiliated in any way with Etsy or Chewy – I just love shopping there! I am an Amazon Associate though, and I get a commission from qualifying purchases.)

As an adult, one of my favorite Disney movies is Frozen. And Frozen 2. And Olaf’s Frozen Adventure. You get my point. While the Frozen franchise has a lot of amazing characters, the most amusing one is Olaf! The great news is that you can dress your pup to look just like him with this adorable Olaf Pet Costume!

If you’ve known me for more than about 5 seconds, you know that my absolute favorite Disney character of ALL time is my beloved Eeyore. Amazon not only has a long-eared Eeyore costume, they also have Piglet, Tigger, and of course Pooh. You can recreate almost the whole Hundred Acre Wood gang with your crew of pups. These costumes are head pieces, not full costumes – great for the pups who don’t tolerate clothing as well.

Another outstanding choice is this regal Beast costume in his best dress jacket. (Keep reading for the link to the Belle costume.) How cute would those be for a dog “couples costume?” đŸ„°

Chewy Is My Go-To!

I gotta say, Chewy never disappoints! Whether I need meds for my pups, Chihuahua clothing, good boy treats, or even dog Halloween costumes – they always seem to have exactly what I need! Here are some of the best (IMO) Disney-inspired Halloween costumes for pooches from Chewy.

For fans of the Sanderson Sisters I present to you this adorably witchy Hocus Pocus costume! It comes with a cape AND a wig for any pup who wants to see how they’d look as a blonde! đŸ€Ł There is also a hilarious-looking Mary Sanderson costume.

Chewy also has a classic Zero costume from The Nightmare Before Christmas. This one also comes with a cape and headpiece. What’s better than your dog dressing up like a dog? 😂

If princesses are more your thing, check out this Belle costume complete with yellow ball gown and wig. Let’s not forget one of the OG princesses, Cinderella! It comes with the iconic light blue gown and blonde wig (with a little bun on the back!)

I saved my favorite Chewy find for last. As a kid I LOVED The Little Mermaid movie. Okay, yes, I STILL love it. 😁 That is why this next costume makes me so excited! Why wouldn’t your dog want to dress up as Ariel from The Little Mermaid?!?!

Unique Finds From Etsy

I spend more time than I care to mention browsing (and buying) such neat items from Etsy! A fair share of Disney-inspired dog Halloween costumes can also be found here. No joke – here is how much of an Etsy addict I am – in the middle of researching for this article I had to stop and buy a shirt for myself featuring some of my favorite Disney dogs dressed up as ghosts! If you are reading this article you are likely someone who loves Disney AND dogs so if that shirt piques your interest here is the link: Disney Dogs Boo.)

Check out this perfect Snow White inspired gown. Now if you happen to have a total of 8 dogs, you could dress one up as Snow White and then you
..you see where I’m going, right? 😁

The perfect complimentary costume to the Olaf one that I mentioned earlier in this article would be Princess Anna! Another cute couples costume idea!

If your pup doesn’t really tolerate wearing a whole entire costume, here are a few more “hoods” that might be a good option. I stumbled across these fabulous Toy-Story themed hoods that still say “Halloween costumes” without a full coverage.

Tips To Get The Right Fit

Just like with human clothes, a medium isn’t a medium across the board when it comes to pet clothing. Be sure to look at the size guide for whatever item you decide to purchase. Commonly you will need measurements for neck, length (from neck to tail base), and girth (usually body circumference behind front legs), and if it comes with a head piece you will likely need head circumference. I learned a long time ago (the hard way) that you can’t buy dog clothing based on the breed or weight range on the package.
