Have the BEST Beach Day with these Disney-inspired Essentials

First Things First – The Bag!

The perfect Disney-inspired bag will make your beach day even more magical! Here is one of my favorites that I’ve seen as of late – the “Disney Mickey Mouse Face Water-Resistant Rubber Molded Large Tote”. It is water resistant, pink (the best color), easy to clean and it has Mickey on it! It’s also got the perforations for charms and/or accessories. It is available at Target (online only) and as of this post it is $64.99 and it ships free.

I can totally see myself at the beach with this bag – anyone else? 😁

Sylish, Disney-inspired Footwear

A pair of flip flops or sandals is a must for a day at the beach. It’s even better if they are Disney! Plus nobody wants to burn their feet on the hot sand or pavement. 😕

I’ve loved The Little Mermaid since I was a kid – my favorite sidekick was always Sebastian the crab. So to find these flip flops, especially ones by Vera Bradley, it made my heart so happy! This pair of Disney Printed Essential Flip Flops Ariel’s Pink Lagoon is only $19 at Target at the time of this post.

If you know me at all, you know I’m very into the Hundred Acre Wood. So, naturally, I got very excited when I saw these Ladies Classic Winnie the Pooh Comfort Foam Slide Sandals! They are non-slip (great for poolside) and have a padded footbed for comfort all day!

Magical Beach Umbrella

Everyone will KNOW that you are a Disney fan when they see your beach setup.

This adorable 5.5′ Mickey beach umbrella by Picnic Time will provide shade in Disney style for your day at the beach. It has a pointed pole for easy set up in the sand as well as a tilted pole so it can easily adjust to the sun. At the time of this post this umbrella is just $49.99 on Amazon with free delivery. There are also other Disney-related designs available (I’m talking Minnie and Star Wars!).

Beach Reads

For me, no beach day is complete without a good book. This would be my excuse to go to Barnes and Noble and spend half my paycheck!

Here are a few Disney-inspired reads on my TBR (to be read) list that I cannot wait to get my hands on! The Twisted Tale Series sounds amazing!

Protecting Your Skin is a Must!

The American Academy of Dermatology states that dermatologists recommend a SPF of 30 or higher. My go-to sunscreen is good old Banana Boat Ultra Sport Clear Spray Broad Spectrum Sunscreen. It has an SPF of 50 and you can just spray it on (no icky hands and trying to reach that spot on your back between your shoulders.) 🙄 It will last through sweat and water and is very affordable at just $13.99 for a 2 pack of 6 oz bottles (at the time of this post.) This is also from Target so if you combine it with another item(s) you can get free shipping on orders over $35.

Do not forget to protect your lips – they need a little SPF too! Aquaphor Lip Protectant has a SPF of 30 and is the perfect, unscented stick to keep your lips safe in the summer sun.
