A small jar of Disney inspired homemade slime with glow in the dark make shaped glitter and multicolored Mickey shaped glitter sits with its lid off.

How To Make Disney-Inspired Glow-in-the-Dark Slime (with FREE printable jar labels!)

Slime Feels

There is nothing quite like sticking your fingers into soft, fresh, gooey slime! Did you know that you can make your own Disney-Inspired Slime right at home with just a few ingredients that you probably already have on hand? It’s very easy and I’m going to show you how! This is a fun activity for all ages (with adult supervision of course 😉).

To add some Disney-magic to this slime, I used some Mickey-shaped GLOW-IN-THE-DARK glitter! It looks so amazing when the lights are off! I also used multi-colored Mickey-shaped glitter and some stars (so it is still fun in the daylight 😁).

This slime would make a cute party favor. I found small jars that are the perfect size for this!

Slime Instructions

  1. Pour glue into a mixing bowl or container.
  2. Add baking soda and stir until fully combined.
  3. Optional: add food coloring (I used a few drops of red and blue to make purple). Stir until thoroughly incorporated.
  4. Add contact lens solution gradually (start with 1 tbsp.). As you stir the slime will start to pull away from the bowl. If the slime is too sticky, add more contact solution until it is stretchy but not sticky. (You can start to knead with your hands when the slime firms up. Squirt a little contact solution on your hands and rub together to prevent sticking.).
  5. Add glitter and knead until incorporated.
  6. Store in an airtight container (or the little jars!)

Fully Customizable

You can easily make this slime just about any color that you want. The glitter can be swapped out for any color or shape as well. Tell me in the comments if you did something different!
