How to Turn Basic Brownies into a Disney-inspired Christmas Treat!
Main Street Magic
One of the best things about being in Disney around Christmas is seeing (and eating) all of the festive, seasonal treats that they have to offer. Unfortunately, I won’t get to head to Orlando this year but I’m going to have a magical Christmas at home. Stick around and I’ll show you how to make these simple yet elegant Disney-inspired Christmas brownies shaped like Mickey!

The BEST Mickey-Shaped Cookie Cutters!
You will need a Mickey-shaped cookie cutter to make this delicious brownie treat. My favorite is this 4-piece Mouse Cookie Cutter Set from Amazon. (As an Amazon Associate I may get a small commission on qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you.) I use these cutters all the time and I LOVE them! With Christmas right around the corner this might be the time to get yourself a little present! As of this post the set is on sale for $4.99!
How to make Disney-inspired Christmas Brownies
You Will Need:
- Box of 13 x 9 Pan Size Brownie Mix (Use your favorite! I like the extra “chewy fudge” kind 😁)
- Mickey-shaped cookie cutter
- Powdered Sugar
- Butter
- Red & Green Food Coloring
- Vanilla Extract
- Milk
Directions:
- Bake the brownies according to the box instructions. Let them cool COMPLETELY.
- Make the Icing
- In a small bowl, combine 1 tbsp room temp butter and 1/4 cup of powdered sugar.
- Add 1/8 tsp vanilla extract, stir until combined.
- Add 1 tsp of milk, mix until a thin icing forms.
- Add another 1/4 cup of powdered sugar and stir until fully combined. (You don’t want it to be runny, but not so thick that it can’t be piped. Add a small amount of milk if it is too thick, add a small amount of powdered sugar if it is too thin.)
- Divide the icing into two bowls. Add green food coloring to one, and red to the other. Put each color into a piping bag (or a baggie with a tiny corner cut off).
- Gently cut Mickey shapes out of the pan of brownies. (Try alternating the direction of the cutter to get more shapes.)
- Put the Mickey-shaped brownies on a silicone mat or a piece of parchment paper.
- Using a small sieve, gently sprinkle powdered sugar on the tops of the brownies. (Gently tap the side of the sieve for the perfect sprinkle!)
- Grab the bag with the green icing and pipe two lines (at a 45 degree angle from each other, the lower tips almost touching) up near one of the Mickey ears. With a toothpick, gently pull the holly leaf points out on both sides of the green icing lines. Then, draw a line down the middle with the toothpick.
- Using the piping bag with red icing, pipe three red dots to make a Mickey head where the points of the holly leaves are almost touching to make holly berries.

These will be Guest Pleasers (Santa will like them, too!)
These Disney-inspired Christmas Brownies are sure to delight any Disney fan that stops by your house this holiday season. I bet the big guy in the red suit would also love to find these next to a cold glass of milk when he visits!
