Disney-Inspired S'mores Popcorn Bowl

This indulgent Main Street-inspired S'mores Popcorn Bowl can be made right in your kitchen - no campfire required!
Course: Dessert, Snack

Ingredients

  • 8 cups popped popcorn 1/4 cup of unpopped Jumbo kernels is approximately 8 cups popped
  • salt salt the popped popcorn to your taste
  • 2 cups mini-marshmallows
  • 2 cups graham crackers, crushed
  • cups chocolate, melted I used Ghirardelli milk chocolate melting wafers

Method

  1. Pop the popcorn and salt to your taste.
  2. Put 1 cup of popped popcorn in each of 4 bowls. (Use bowls that will hold at least 3-4 cups so there will be room for all of the fixings)
  3. With a spoon, heavily drizzle several tablespoons of melted chocolate over the popcorn in each bowl. (Blobs are totally okay if they happen!)
  4. Sprinkle approximately 1/4 cup of the crushed graham crackers on top of the chocolate in each bowl.
  5. Distribute 1/4 c of mini-marshmallows on top of the grahams in each bowl.
  6. Repeat steps 1-4 to create a second layer of popcorn, chocolate drizzle, crushed graham crackers, and mini-marshmallows.
  7. OPTIONAL BUT ILL-ADVISED! (See the paragraph at the bottom of my blog post for explanation :) If you are competent with a kitchen torch, you can lightly toast the top mini-marshmallows for some added campfire-taste. Toast at your own risk!
  8. Drizzle the remaining melted chocolate on top of the 4 bowls.
  9. Let the bowls rest for just a bit to give the chocolate a chance to set up, otherwise it will be super-messy when eating. Serve and enjoy during movie night or just because!
